All articles published in Qualitative Inquiry in Education: Theory & Practice (QIETP) are subject to the following copyright and licensing terms, designed to protect authors' rights while promoting the wide dissemination and accessibility of scholarly work.

Copyright and License

By submitting their work to the Qualitative Inquiry in Education: Theory & Practice (QIETP), authors retain full copyright upon publication, while granting JPM the right of first publication under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This arrangement allows authors to maintain control over their intellectual property while enabling the journal to distribute the work openly.

Authors are able to enter into separate, contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
